Camp Aranzazu bridge to connect campers with new experiences

New bridge at Camp Aranzazu

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - There's a bridge project that is about to be completed in Rockport.

It's not the Copano Bay bridge, that opened up last week.

The bridge we're talking about will link Camp Aranzazu with Copano Bay. The camp has been around for 11 years, it serves children and adults with disabilities.

Campers enjoy swimming, hiking and now the 600-foot bridge will allow campers to simply travel across to fish or learn how to sail.

The bridge is set to open on June 5. Kiii reporter Michael Gibson has the exclusive details in this report.
