Candy Cane Lane preparations begin

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Corpus Christi's most prominent Christmas lights display called Candy Cane Lane has started going up Friday afternoon.

Audrey Soltis had her two grandsons started work putting up her lights up along Gayle Drive. Four streets located around the Everhart and Wooldridge area make up Candy Cane Lane.

Every year thousands of individuals drive through the light display and admire all of the decorations.

"I do love it, I love when you get everything up and when everyone else gets theirs up because I enjoy it I love to sit outside and watch the people," Soltis said.

Soltis wants to have her decorations up by Sunday so she could sit back and enjoy the decoration just like everyone else who drives to the area.
