Car on fire and fully engulfed in flames

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Flames engulfed one vehicle just a little after 8 p.m on Saturday.

The Nueces County ESD #2 rushed to the 3500 block of Flour Bluff Drive to put this car fire out.

Crews say one person was driving the car until their vehicle stalled.

Once the driver tried to start the car, that's when the car began to catch on fire.

Authorities also say traffic was backed up and diverted for about thirty minutes.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire very quickly.

No one was hurt during this incident.
