CCFD receives donation of $165,000 training service

The City announced Thursday that the access is worth $165,000.

CORPUS CHRSITI (KIII NEWS) - A California-based company named Welborn Media provided the Corpus Christi Fire Department with a year of free access to a tactical command and situational awareness training website.

The City announced Thursday that the access is worth $165,000.

Through the use of the site, firefighters can practice hazard recognition and issues that influence ground decision and actions. The courses can also be used for required continuing education hours that firefighters will need.
