City, County help residents stay warm with Operation Heat

Residents can begin applying for the program on Dec. 1.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - The City of Corpus Christi and Nueces County are teaming up for Operation Heat in an effort to keep residents warm this winter.

The City's Utilities Business Office and Nueces County's Department of Social Services will pay up to $100 of the gas portion of a household's utility bill from November of 2017 to February of 2018.

Residents can begin applying for the program on Dec. 1.
