County program recruiting teens to help in elections

A new program will allow high school students to serve their community in the upcoming November elections.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - A new program will allow high school students to serve their community in the upcoming November elections.
 
Nueces County Clerk Kara Sands was on the Flour Bluff High School campus Thursday to recruit students ages 16-18 who are interested in participating in the County's Election Clerk program, which has already generated interest among students.
 
Students have until Sept. 30 to submit applications.
