DMC to offer tuition-free post-Harvey recovery trade classes

A new grant is making it possible to take class at Del Mar College for free while preparing you for the new workforce needed to help communities devastated by hurricane Harvey.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIIINEWS) - Completion of OSHA 30 allows students to enroll in the next training course, Mold Remediation, Restoration and Disposal Techniques, which meets Jan. 8 to 13, 2018. Future courses include Carpentry and Framing, Drywall Installation and Interior Finishes and Flooring and Maintenance, Afuso said. While the courses are open to everyone, people who were directly impacted by Hurricane Harvey may qualify for free tuition. To inquire about qualification, contact Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend at (361) 882-7491 or click here for more information.
