CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Emergency crews were called out to the Home and Garden entrance of the Wal-Mart on Greenwood Wednesday night to a trauma call.
Police learned that a 63-year-old man that was hired as a contract worker to paint the store was injured. He was taken to the hospital and treated for head trauma.
Police investigated the incident as an accident until witness interviews and gathered evidence helped them identify this event as a criminal action.
Detectives arrested 34-year-old Anthony Richardson for aggravated assault, the charge is a 2nd-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
