CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - The Alzheimer's Association's South Texas team will hit the pavement Sunday for a Walk to End Alzheimer's disease.
Registration for the walk will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Heritage Park and the opening ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. The walk does not officially begin until 2 p.m.
Alzheimer's disease attacks the brain and is the most common form of dementia. Currently, there is not a cure for the disease.
