Help spread Christmas cheer to children in need

The proceeds and toys will benefit the Women's Shelter of South Texas, Ark Shelter for Youth in Calallen, and the Corpus Christi Hope House.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - South Side Calavera's goal is to see children in need smile for the holiday season. 

The motorcycle club will kick off their 6th annual toy drive Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m, and it goes until 6 p.m. at the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Portland located off US Highway 181.

"We're just trying to change a child's Christmas and try to make it a little bit better. we started doing this six years ago, it's amazing, and we can't do it without the community," President Bryan Gomez said. 

The proceeds and toys will benefit the Women's Shelter of South Texas, Ark Shelter for Youth in Calallen, and the Corpus Christi Hope House.
