Hope House breaks ground on new shelter

An alone donor provided the funds for the shelter and organizer cannot wait to open the home.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Hope House broke ground Tuesday night on their newest home at the 600 block of Robinson Street near Alameda and Texas Trail. Hope House is an organization that provides help for pregnant woman and mothers who have fallen on hard times.

The groundbreaking will mean that Hope House will have their third shelter. 

An individual donor provided the funds for the shelter and organizer cannot wait to open the home.

"It's just a great feeling," Debra Arsuaga said. 

The new shelter will be called the St. Gianna Molla Home.
