Until 1970 the Dunn Ranch covered a vast area of land reaching all the way to the Rio Grande Valley.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - When you think of Padre Island you think of homes, and canals, and busy streets. But not so long ago, the entire island from Packery Channel south to Cameron County was one large cattle ranch, one hundred thousand acres of open range.

Until 1970 the Dunn Ranch covered a vast area of land reaching all the way to the Rio Grande Valley.
