Man arrested for threatening to kill churchgoers, city workers

Authorities said Randolph told members of the Catholic Church on South Victoria Street that he was going to kill them to set an example. The churchgoers chased Randolph off and he fled to City Hall where police said he threatened City employees.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - 34-year-old Wade Clayton Randolph was put behind bars Tuesday after allegedly threatening to kill churchgoers and City employees in the town of San Diego, Texas.

Authorities said Randolph told members of the Catholic Church on South Victoria Street that he was going to kill them to set an example. The churchgoers chased Randolph off and he fled to City Hall where police said he threatened City employees.

After a short struggle, authorities were able to put Randolph into custody. Randolph is now in the Duval County Jail on charges of making terroristic threats.
