More than $2 million dollars raised for new Salvation Army headquarters

A big donation was given Monday to the non-profit. That means they will be able to break ground on their new headquarters early 2018. Also, mobile canteens are making their way to help with any disaster relief needed as Harvey is set to make landfall.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIIINEWS) - A private donation was made of $1.6 million during the non-profit's capital campaign. A match of $500,000 was also given in response. That means a total of $2.1 million is set to help with groundbreaking set for early 2018. Visit here if  you would like to help the Salvation Army.
