Mother Teresa to be canonized by the Pope Sunday

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (KIII NEWS) - Although she is already considered a saint in the hearts of many, Mother Teresa will be officially canonized on Sunday at a ceremony at the Vatican.

Mother Teresa is best known for her work in India, helping the sick and poor. Pope Francis will recognize her as a catholic saint based on the accounts of two people who claim they were healed by her prayers.

A woman  whose stomach tumor disappeared and a man in brazil with brain abscesses who woke up from a coma. Thousands of people are expected to travel to Italy, India, and the Holy Land to commemorate her life.
