CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - A new gas processing plant set to go up in northwest Corpus Christi will be getting a tax break to begin construction.

Nueces County Commissioners agreed Wednesday to waive taxes, initially reduced for a certain period and then increased over 10 years, to Epic Y-Grade Logistics.

The company plans on building a natural gas fractionator plant off Violet Road and Highway 44. Construction of the plant will employ hundreds of people, and when completed, company officials told commissioners it will provide between 10-15 full-time jobs.
