CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII 3 NEWS) - This November voters will decide if the Corpus Christi Independent School District needs millions of dollars for renovations and upgrades as proposed in the latest bond package. Superintendent Roland Hernandez joined First Edition to briefly discuss some of the top key points this bond package will address. He states:
The Bond proposal is for $194 million.
It will not increase taxes for citizens of Corpus Christi for the first two years.
Details of the plan include renovating, completely reconstructing or upgrading all CCISD schools; focusing on security.
