Paralyzed graduate serves as inspiration

Bailey majored in Kinesiology with a minor in sports marketing.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Students from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christ will walk the stage and receive their college diplomas Saturday for commencement.

One student stands out among the crowd: Donna Bailey.

Bailey has been working on her degree for six years because she was left paralyzed from the neck down after a severe accident.

Six years later and Bailey is serving as an inspiration to others that no matter what, you can do whatever you set your mind to in life.

"Just go out conquer the world. Do what you want to do. Be a success and stay on the track," Bailey said.

Bailey majored in Kinesiology with a minor in sports marketing.
