Police contact parent who left voicemail threats to Flour Bluff schools

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Security was heightened Tuesday morning at Flour Bluff Junior High and Elementary schools after a message threatening school buildings and employees was found in the Junior High School's overnight voicemails.
School administrators said the message appeared to come from a parent who was quickly identified.
Flour Bluff Independent School District security and Corpus Christi police officers put the schools on increased security and notified parents. The parent suspected of leaving the message was contacted by police at his place of employment. He has not been arrested, but police say the investigation is ongoing with the possibility of criminal charges.
