CORPUS CHRISTI (CALLER TIMES) - A fight between brothers ended with one of them dead Sunday.
Corpus Christi police responded about 3:55 p.m. to a home in the 4700 block of Alma Street near Lincoln Park. Initially, medics were called to treat a possible heart attack, Senior Officer Travis Pace said.
But after investigation, officers believe the brothers - aged 56 and 63 - were fighting, which led to the medical episode, Pace said.
Medics administered CPR to the younger brother who collapsed after the altercation, police said.
The brother was transported to Corpus Christi Medical Center Doctors Regional where he died due to injuries suffered during the fight, police said. Police do not believe weapons were used during the fight and a motive has not been provided.
The older brother, who police did not name, was taken into custody for questioning. Officers also didn't identify the younger brother.
