Police search for suspects in fatal gun store robbery

Corpus Christi Police Officers are searching for three suspects who they believe were accomplices in a robbery of a gun store that resulted in two people being shot last week.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (KIIINEWS) - Three News has learned new details about an arrest made in connection with a fatal shooting at a gun store last week.

That shooting happened Thursday night at the Shooter's Depot on Leopard St. and Navigation Blvd. Detectives say 19-year-old Truanser Hughes was involved in the killing of the owner, 63-year- old George Kumbis.

During the interview with Hughes, three accomplices were named. Police are now looking for 20-year-old Filamir Gomez Jr., 28-year-old Jeremiah Jenkins, and 22-year-old Darien Marshall.

An employee at the gun store was also wounded in the robbery.
