CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Corpus Christi police are on the hunt Thursday evening for two suspects involved in a shooting on the 1600 block of Bernandino near Greenwood and Horne.

Police said two men, in a maroon suburban with red bandanas over their faces, opened fire on a man in the neighboorhood. The victim was reportedly hit once and is expected to be okay.

Investigators are still trying to piece together the motive which led to the violence.

"Several shots were fired. We are still investigating. We have to determine what caused it to escalate to a shooting. We have no idea what the motive was, and what actually transpired out here other than the subject was shot," captain Dave Cook said.

If you have any information that can help police track down the suspects in the case to call 361-886-2600.
