CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Representatives from the Port of Corpus Christi were at Menger Elementary School Tuesday helping students gets into the Christmas spirit.
For the last 20 years, the Port has adopted a school to provide a tree and help the children decorate it. They even bring Santa along with them, and Pocca the Pelican, the Port's mascot. They even provided each student with a gift.
"We feel it's real important to invest in the future of our leaders," Port Director of Operations Kristen Cook said. "It's great to see the kids, seeing the smiles on their faces."
