They say many rooms were in need of new paints jobs and renovations.
Officials say going to CPS can be an intimidating experience for many children..
Especially if they have to spend the night or sit in long meetings.
The Junior League of Corpus Christi is stepping up.
Members of the league spent their Sunday making sure several rooms have a vibrant and inviting feel.
The group says CPS goes hand in hand with their belief in helping children.
This Sunday they spruced up visitation and play rooms, giving them a fresh coat of paint, new furniture, and most importantly, toys.
