CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - A Regional Transportation Authority transfer station caught fire overnight, and the Corpus Christi Fire Department believes it may have been set intentionally.
Fire investigators said the blaze broke out around 2 a.m. at the Six Points transfer station. They believe a Skid-O-Kan was most likely set on fire intentionally and spread to the rest of the station.
The station sustained major damage and officials said it will remain shut down indefinitely.
Authorities said there are no witnesses to the accident.
