CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) -  

Most nurseries will use something called seed plugs to help plants get their start. They will help grow things like lettuce and tomatoes and other leafy greens.  You want to make sure there is enough oxygen and moisture getting to the roots.  The South Texas Gardener joined us on 3 News First Edition to talk about the difference between soil and seed starting media.  Sometimes soil that has not been prepared properly can cause difficulties.
