Premont ISD Interim Superintendent arrested for possession of marijuana

Premont Independent School District Interim Superintendent Eric Ramos, 52, was arrested around 9 p.m. Thursday for possession of marijuana after a routine traffic stop on FM 1329 and 716.

PREMONT (KIII NEWS) - Premont Independent School District Interim Superintendent Eric Ramos, 52, was arrested around 9 p.m. Thursday for possession of marijuana after a routine traffic stop on FM 1329 and 716.
 
The Duval County Sheriff's Department said a deputy pulled Ramos over and upon approaching the driver's-side window, he noticed the odor of burnt marijuana and asked Ramos to step out of the vehicle. As Ramos stepped out, the deputy said he threw a plastic baggie containing a green substance.
 

 
Ramos was transported to the Duval County Jail. He was released on a $250 bond.
