Suspected child rapist wanted by Corpus Christi police

Police said a woman called officers to respond to Driscoll Children's Hospital in order to report an aggravated sexual assault of a child on May 31, 2016.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII-NEWS) - Corpus Christi police are looking for 28-year-old Martin Munoz, a man wanted for the aggravated sexual assault of at least one child.
 
Police said a woman called officers to respond to Driscoll Children’s Hospital in order to report an aggravated sexual assault of a child on May 31, 2016. Detectives gathered information and evidence that led them to believe that Munoz was responsible for the rape of at least one child in Corpus Christi.

Detectives obtained a warrant for the apprehension of Munoz and would now like help from the public to locate him. He stands about five-foot six, weighs 185 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is in Bloomington, Texas.
 
If convicted, he faces a first-degree felony punishable by 5-99 years in prison, or life in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
