Two arrested in connection with Copper Mountain shooting incident

Corpus Christi police have arrested two suspects in connection with an incident Thursday that led to the a fatal shooting on Copper Mountain Drive.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - Corpus Christi Police have arrested two suspects in connection with an incident Thursday that led to a fatal shooting on Copper Mountain Drive.

Officers said neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing men running up and down the street as cars sped off. A man identified as 44-year-old Fredrick Ramsey was taken to Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital with gunshot wounds and later died from his injuries.

Investigators said 32-year-old Ronald Richards and 39-year-old Frederson Ramsey have both been arrested in relation to the incident and charged with burglary of habitation and possession of a controlled substance.
