Kids to Kids Mission Hope from Belton, Texas, came down and donated items for the event.

"Children just show up and sit on Santa's lap and they're handed a gift, and they're going to be given several gifts," Jackie Hattenbach said.

The Tropical Christmas will take place Saturday at the festival grounds in Rockport and starts at 10 a.m. It ends around 7 p.m. with a fireworks show.
