Warm clothing drive to help the homeless get through winter

It may be 90 degrees in mid-October, but a change in temperature is right around the corner. In anticipation, the Corpus Christi Bar Association, Nueces County Commissioner's Court and the Salvation Army are teaming up for a Warm Clothing Drive.

CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - It may be 90 degrees in mid-October, but a change in temperature is right around the corner. In anticipation, the Corpus Christi Bar Association, Nueces County Commissioner's Court and the Salvation Army are teaming up for a Warm Clothing Drive.

They are asking for public donations of gently used, warm clothing; and please don't forget the little ones. The Salvation Army said children are a big portion of our homeless population and often have to go without.

The donation drive will run Oct. 17-Nov. 18. Donation boxes will be located at the Nueces County Courthouse and at many local law offices, or you can drop off clothes at the Salvation Army.
