Man Arrested for Attempting to Cash a Forged Cashiers Check

A 64-year old man was arrested Monday after attempting to cash a forged cashier's check for $1,700 at a business in the 1100 block of Waldron Road, according to police.

Officers were called out the business at around 2:40 p.m. Once there, they were shown the check and contacted the bank. That bank said the check was not issued by them and was a forgery.

64-year old Roberto Seidner was arrested for forgery, a state jail felony, and was transported to the City Detention Center without incident.
