Masked Man Robs Local Dairy Queen, Injures Employee

Frightening moments for workers at a Corpus Christi restaurant Sunday morning when a man wearing a mask went inside flashing a knife and demanding money. The robbery happened as employees were getting ready to open the Dairy Queen restaurant on Saratoga. Employees said it happened so fast. The suspect demanded the employee's phones and money. He also threw one employee to the ground and made another employee open the safe.
Juan Trevino who works at the restaurant said, "he threw me on the ground and made the other manager get on the ground as well. He wanted the phones, kicked me on my face, cut me on my hand."
Fortunately, no major injuries were reported to any of the employees.
