Medical Examiner's Office Identifies Victim in Deadly Motorcycle Accident

The woman killed in a motorcycle accident Friday night has been identified by the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office as 27-year old Jamie Hyland.

Police are still trying to figure out what caused the motorcyclist to lose control of his bike. It happened at around 11 p.m. Friday along Leopard Street in Calallen.

According to police, the motorcyclist hit a curb, sending him and his passenger, Hyland, into the air. Hyland was pronounced dead at the scene, and the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
