Milk Prices Up 7.5% from a Year Ago

(CNN)-  You may have noticed higher milk prices at the store recently.

The bureau of labor statistics says a gallon of fortified whole milk cost 3-dollars-and-69-cents in last month.

That's a 7-point-5-percent increase from a year ago -- the highest price in about two and a half years.

Analysts blame china and other Southeast Asian and Latin American countries for the high demand and higher prices.
