Multiple Fights Near Local Bar Leave Two People with Stab Wounds

Corpus Christi Police were busy Sunday night tracking down attackers wanted in separate stabbings.

Officers responded to the area of Sunnybrook and Nesbitt around 10:00 p.m. Sunday night. Police say two men were fighting near J's Playroom, a bar, when one was stabbed and ran off.

He was later found after a K-9 Unit was called out.

Lt. Sergio Delgado, Corpus Christi Police Department, says,"Our investigations led us to discover that there was one individual who was stabbed, who was involved in that fight, who was the same individual that ran from law enforcement authorities, so he was a victim."

Lt. Delgado says the man who attacked him went back into J's Playroom, got into a fight with another person and ended up being stabbed as well. He, as well as the man who stabbed him, both ran off.

Officers are still looking for them. Call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS if you have any information that could lead to an arrest.
