Murder Charges Being Considered for Grandson of Murdered Woman

Homicide detectives met with District Attorney Mark Skurka on Wednesday to discuss filing a murder charge in the death of 77-year old Johanna Christy.

The grandmother was found dismembered and buried in a shallow grave in her own backyard.

Right now, her grandson, 27-year old David Christy, is facing a number of charges after reportedly running from police and fighting them after they tried question him.

On Wednesday night, it was learned that Christy was unemployed and out on bond on a drug possession charge last month. The district attorney could make a decision on this case by Thursday.
