TROY, Mich. (AP) - Police in Michigan say one person has died after being shot by a gunman this morning at a suburban Detroit office building.

Officers are still searching for the shooter. A hospital spokesman says two men have been wounded, but no specifics have been provided on the third victim, who was killed.

Police say the shooter used either a rifle or a shotgun and was a former employee of one of the offices inside the building. They say the shooter may have been fired as recently as a week ago. Police are not sure whether the gunman is still inside the building.

Police at first told workers to stay in their offices but the building was evacuated a short time later.
