Naval Air Station-Corpus Christi Opens New All Hands Club

It was all smiles at Naval Air Station-Corpus Christi on Tuesday, as the base officially opened the doors to a new club: the All Hands Club.

The All Hands Club replaces the historic Bay Club, which was built more than 50 years ago. Even though the Bay Club carried so much history, it was time for something modern.

"There are a lot of pilots getting their wings in the same place their parents got their wings," said Captain Dave Edgecomb, a commanding officer at NAS-CC. "we can't serve food there, and we're pretty close to having to condemn it, so this facility is very timely."

Besides being a place to eat and drink, the facility also has a ballroom available for events, and a meeting space.
