Nueces County Courthouse Will E-file Cases Starting July

It's  the end of an era at the Nueces County District Clerks Office, at least for attorneys who are used to filing their civil cases with paper documents. Come July first, attorneys filing civil, family and probate cases will have to do it electronically. It's all a result of a Texas Supreme Court Ruling the new E-filing system is being called a step forward in streamlining the District Clerk's Office. For now this requirement only applies to attorneys. The public can still file paper documents at least for the time being.
