Police Arrest Man Suspected of Soliciting a 14-Year Old Boy

The Corpus Christi Police Department has arrested the man suspected of soliciting a 14-year old juvenile male back on Nov. 2.

It was just Tuesday when 3News reported that police were looking for the man and aired surveillance footage that was captured from a store on McArdle Road and Dody Street. Police said he offered to pay a 14-year old boy to show him his private parts.

Since then, according to police, detectives received several tips that helped them identify the suspect as 36-year old Andrew Lee Ensinger and obtain a warrant for his arrest.

Ensinger was picked up at his place of employment in the 5600 block of Old Brownsville Road Thursday and charged with the outstanding warrant for sexual performance by a child, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. His bond has been set at $75,000.
