Police Serve Arrest Warrant to High-Risk Suspected Drug Dealer

The Corpus Christi Police Department's SWAT team, along with other officers, nabbed a man who they say is a drug dealer with a long wrap sheet Friday morning.

Police said the man is considered a "high-risk" suspect. He was arrested at around 7:30 a.m. Friday in the 3700 block of Mueller. Officers, armed with warrants, made their way inside of the home.

"He's been selling cocaine and crack-cocaine for years," said Captain David Cook, commander of the CCPD SWAT team.

A child was inside asleep at the time of the bust. Child Protective Services was notified, and the little girl was given to her mother, who was not involved in the bust.
