Port Lavaca Slips Past Carroll 21-17

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports)- The Carroll Tigers played well, but not quite well enough as they opened the 2013 high school football season with a tough 21-17 loss to Port Lavaca.

The Tigers opened the scoring on a Noah Lisk touchdown dash in a seesaw game with the Sandcrabs.

Port Lavaca took the lead for good on a short Hunter Boerm TD run with just over four minutes to play as they beat Carroll 21-17 at Buc Stadium.
