Portland Police Arrest Three People for Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution

Three people were arrested and charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution Sunday in Portland after they were found in a hotel with at least three juvenile females.

The three adults and three juveniles were all from Houston. Police identified the adults as 23-year old Tyrah Forun, 17-year old Alexis Sanni and 20-year old Deandre Woodley. Police said two of the juveniles found in the Best Western hotel were runaways, and one is believed to be Woodley's sister.

Portland police believe the group traveled from Houston last Tuesday and promoted sexually related services area on at least one website. They were offering the services in the Corpus Christi, George West, Kingsville and Ingleside areas.

Officers received a tip Saturday by a relative of one of the girls. The relative informed police that one of the girls had called and said she was being held against her will.

The case is still under investigation, and police are making arrangements to return the juveniles to their families in Houston.
