Preparing Your Child to Swim Safe this Summer

Accidents are the leading cause of death in children under the age of 14, and each year, nearly 1,000 of those deaths around the country are due to drowning.

Most of those drownings happen at the family pool.

Kiii News Reporter Michael Gibson looked into the ways that you can prepare your child for the dangers of the swimming pool.
