DR. MARK A. BRISTER AFFIRMED AS INTERIM PASTOR

     Dr. Mark Brister was affirmed as the interim pastor for First Baptist Church of Corpus Christi at a special called meeting following the morning worship services on Sunday, August 24.

     Dr. Brister graduated from both Baylor Univesity and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has served as pastor in Missouri, Louisiana, and Texas.  In 2007 he retired as president of Oklahoma Baptist University, and is presently involved in the Mark Brister Ministries.
