Results from a Successful Third Annual Diaper Drive

The numbers are in for the third annual Diaper Drive benefit that was spearheaded by the Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce, and they look pretty good.

It was an event that Kiii-TV was proud to take part in. The drive helped collect diapers and other baby care items to be handed out to military families in need.

According to the Black Chamber of Commerce, about $6,000 worth of diapers and baby care items were collected, as well as $1,938 in monetary donations. Add to that a $2,500 grant from the March of Dimes, and you get a grand total of $10,500.

If you are in a military family and want to know how you can take advantage of the Diaper Drive donations, give USO South Texas a call at 361-961-2391.
