Super heroes to benefit the real life super heroes from Casa of the Coastal Bend that protect neglected children in the area.
Several events will be held this month leading up to Casa's Superhero 5K May 3rd at Heritage Park.
April is National Child Abuse Prevention month, and Casa of the Coastal Bend's goal is to protect abused or neglected children.

Enjoy a crazy hat contest, a scavenger hunt with food and wine while meeting Casa of the Coastal Bend volunteers learning about how to become involved with Casa.

Casa Super Hero 5K: Dress as a superhero and walk or run for Casa of the Coastal Bend with the Casa Super Hero 5K May 3rd, Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Heritage Park. There will be a kids costume contest and more fun with costs ranging from $15 to $25.
