Shred Day Nets 35,000 Pounds of Unwanted Paper Work

Hundreds of Corpus Christi residents took advantage of Shred Day which was held right here at our Kiii parking lot. Residents could bring up to three bags or boxes of documents they wanted to get rid of. About 485 people showed up for Shred Day and 35-thousand pounds of paper were taken away to be disposed of. Of course Shred Day is a way for people to keep their information from getting into the wrong hands. For first time, electronics, like computers, TVs, and even hard drives could be dropped off. If you missed this Shred Day, the next one will be held in October.
