Six Rushed to Hospital After Accident Near West Oso

Three adults and three children were rushed to the hospital Thursday afternoon following an accident in front of West Oso High School.

Police say a white truck was going down Cliff Maus Drive when it was hit by a gray truck attempting to turn left off West Oso Drive. Two women, three children and a man were all taken to Driscoll and Memorial hospitals.

"Three adults and three children sustained minor injuries. Non life threatening," said Edward Longoria of the Corpus Christi Police Department. "Medics arrived quickly and extracted them from the vehicle, and got them to the hospital. To Driscoll and MMC."

The driver of the gray truck was ticketed for the accident.
